Supposedly he said "all Wisconsin does is foul on every possession" or "all Bo does is foul on every possession" on one of his appearances today. On twitter a couple of people thought it might be a dig at his friend Ryan. I think it was a dig at the pro Duke officiating in the final game. What do you think?

I think it could go both ways easily. We got the bad calls against Wisconsin and Wisconsin got it railed in them against Duke in the 2nd half.

What happened the first 25-30 mins of the Duke/Wisconsin game? Seemed Wisconsin benefited a lot with Okafor in foul trouble, as well as Winslow. I'm just playing devil's advocate as you never see anyone mention this on here, only focus on the last 10 mins where I agree Duke got their usual treatment. I also 100% agree UK got jipped against Wisconsin in crunch time...so if you are just referring to the last 5-10 minutes I get what you meant. I think Wisconsin got the calls against UK most, if not the whole game though, while Wisconsin got plenty of calls their way the first 25-30 mins against Duke, but not much after.

Wisconsin shot their wad against UK. That was the game of their year and they played tired and unintelligible against dUKe. Very surprised at the lack of adjustments made, especially in the second half.

I'll take Bo's jab over Cals. I'd rather of had that win then and talking point myself.

Contrary to popular belief around here, I'm a fan of Cal. With that said, he didn't have a problem fouling on every possession a few years ago:

"Here's what the question will be: How long will they keep calling the fouls?” Calipari said. “Two years ago, we started this and then no one had the stomach for it. The teams that advanced in the NCAA Tournament that year fouled on every possession. So then we all — me included — went back to football practice. ‘That's it. Put helmets on. Let's go. That stuff was a bunch of BS.' And by the end of the year, that's how we played and basically made it to the Final Four playing football.”

Hence, I don't think he's taking a shot at Bo or anyone else.

What happened in 2014 at the Final Four? Annoys me when people act like Bo owns Cal or something. UK won their game fair and square without the refs help as well in the last 5 minutes.

At least Dook finally played a good team in Wisc. I was beginning to wonder since Lehigh or Mercer didn't make the dance this year. :p

Coach K and co. breathed a sigh of relief when Lehigh and Mercer lost in their conference tourneys for sure :okay:

You may want to reread that quote if you think that shows that Cal did not have a problem with fouling throughout the game. He says in the quote that he was basically forced to play that way and that it was BS.

I don't think he was digging at Wisconsin. It was definitely a jab at Duke's gift in the final.

Yep. Coach Cal was frustrated, along with many Cat fans, that he wasted (at least) half a season coaching the kids in the direction of the "new rules"... only to find that they weren't being enforced anyway. Julius Randle would still be shooting free throws this very day, if the fouls had been called the way they were supposed to be called.
