Currently the most polarizing topic surrounding the University of Kentucky Men's Basketball team is whether or not Calipari was "right" in allowing Diallo to join the team under the premise that he could possibly go to the NBA without never having played a regular season game wearing the Blue and White.
With that said, do you agree more with Calipari's decision to not play Diallo or Krzyzewski's decision to play Harry Giles during the 2016-17 season? I'm all for Team Calipari on this one and have included a link to DraftExpress' most recent draft projections to support my stance. Diallo has currently moved up to 31, while Giles is down to 27. While I want number 9 as much as any other member of the BBN, I'm glad we have a coach that refrained from committing the selfish act of playing a player who clearly wasn't ready to play at the collegiate level in hopes of winning at all costs. In short, in my mind Cal chose a teenager's future over the possibility of adding another W in the win column, while K sadly took the path more traveled when it comes to coaches in the NCAA.
