and we've gotten soooooo spoiled with it too. Just a few months ago we had fans questioning if Cal had lost the recruiting edge.
I know it's selfish - if he continues as he did in the Duke game his stock may never be higher - but wow, oh wow - it'd be great to have him next year to teach the younger guys. So yes, ONE MORE YEAR!
Can you imagine how great UK would be next year if Ulis came back and had a front line that featured 5 guys at 6'10" that have completely different skill sets? Bam would average 20ppg with Ulis as his pg.
Fox is awesome but a Junior Tyler Ulis can't be matched.
It is possible he comes back but doubtful. He's that good.
Imagine how devastating ulis fox and monk would be running the offense. Throw in bam at the 4 and Isaac at the 5 and that's one salty lineup with numerous studs coming off the bench.

I understand what you are saying but if Ullis continues to play all year like he did against Duke it would be silly for him to return next year. His stock would never go any higher and there could be a possibility of getting hurt. It would be something to see him play with next years class.
With Calipari at UK, I don't give recruiting a second thought...I just need to know the names of the players he brings in so that I can keep up.
Can't wait to watch Bam, along with the others. I feel like a kid in a candy store. How fortunate are we to have Cal? Believe me, when Cal says he's a beast then he's a beast. Who better to pass judgment on a beast , than the man who's coached more beasts than any other coach in UK history.

Cal pushes nobody. He tells them where they stand, gives his recommendation and lets them make their own decisions.
But I know what you meant. I just hate our idiot rival fans that claim Cal pushes these kids out the door to make room for the next crop of players.
For 1 it's not true and secondly, the last thing rival fans should want is players like AD, Randle, Noel, Wall, Cuz etc coming back for another year. Talk about domination. Could you imagine Randle on last years team? Townes on this year's team? Yowza.
This may be the most "Cal" class he's ever signed, and I think he is as excited about these guys as I've ever seen him.
I'm a little disappointed in all the signings. It has become such common place that other teams aren't whining about UK on their boards as much and it's taking some of my entertainment away. They are just expecting it and gave up trying to hate more than they already do....
One thing everyone needs to realize is this:
We are all going to fall off this high once Cal leaves. I don't think most of us realize how hard that fall is going to be.
It's tough for me to fully enjoy this ride because I have the knowledge in the back of my mind that this ride could end as soon as April of next year and that's a crushing thought.
Duke fans have no idea what it's like to have K as long as they have. But they will find out soon enough what it's like to have to replace a legend. It's not fun
Bottom line is we need to trust Cal and believe in him. It's impossible to please this entire fanbase (I'm talking to you Cut Nets) but Cal has managed to make 99% of us very happy.
God help us when he leaves.
