With the portal announcements and other news, is it possible Cal is getting this stuff out of the way quick so he can be aggressive? It’s possible he’s getting rid of guys he doesn’t think need to get back and then getting his roster spots open for 2023-2024?
Like Dillingham. We had to wait too long on Sharpe…Cal probably wants to know if he needs to go get the best transfer guard.
Ugo, Livingston, Collins, Wheeler, etc. Cal may want some of them back, but some he may want out if they aren’t committed. He wants to get the best options now.
In 2020 we were caught off guard and went into 2021 without a PG. We got Mintz and only had Askew on the roster. Cal doesn’t want to scramble.
