Cal is rapidly becoming that crazy uncle who stays put in the back bedroom until Thanksgiving. You know when you bring him out he is going to say something, but it is unlikely to be anything that makes sense or that anyone wants to hear.
Man, I really hope Cal coaches the team in Canada, because when the assistants coach, the team looks nothing like what we see during the actual season.
I know the competition in the Bahamas wasn't great, but our guys played together and everything seemed more fluid. Once the season started, the offense looked like it was stuck in the mud and it was all iso and post stuff.
I'd rather know now what we're going to look like in November.

It’s irrepressible …makes the board depressing …just about every thread …Even though at this point nobody knows absolutely anything about how successful this team will be .
The past is the greatest predictor of the future. Your wishes and wait-and-see attitude won't change this program's well-established trend with Cal as coach.
And his response would be predictable so does it really matter? Bring in players who want to be here. We upgraded staff. It's a process, not every team is going to come together. Our new NIL group should help us in the portal next year. Etc etc...
Sounds like he's still mailing it in to me. Most of what he says is about texts and hugs and stuff that doesn't matter.

Villanova, Duke, Baylor, KU, Gonzaga, UConn and even Florida International seem to be doing just fine, but UK Basketball, apparently, would die if Cal left.

Sounds like the staff has an eye of an August graduate. Make me wonder about Reeves, but I’m guessing he won’t graduate in the summer anyway. He didn’t leave in the first place because of it.
