Cal, Stanford and SMU to the ACC

Sounds ludicrous, but to ESPN showing that at 10:30 pm est is worth throwing some more money at the ACC
Yeah that’s the deal

One of Stanford/Cal will have a home game each Saturday for football and it will start at 10:30 eastern time.

There will be eyeballs and money wagered on those games!

Reading Beavers & Cougars may stay "in" P12 (LOL) for a year or two to collect various revenues still due the conference such as NCAA tourney & TV payouts. In the interim, they would form an alliance with the Mountain West.

This is where it falls apart. A sport where you only play once a week is one thing…. But basketball etc where you have multiple games a week are going to be a huge adjustment…much less the non revenue sports. It’ll turn into “series” to play the same team multiple times in the same week and that isn’t good for the sport imo.
Yep. I’m not sure if any of the players actually go to class or just attend online but this will force that conference players to do online. I don’t see how it wouldn’t? I personally don’t see that as a good thing.
