Cal showed a lot of class after the game in his on the court interview, post game press conference and all the great things he said about the University and his time at UK. I wanted UK to win, but now that this game his over, I hope he wins every game until he plays UK again. We were lucky to have him as a coach for 15 years. I agree it was time for both parties to go separate ways, but he will always be a huge part of the UK basketball history.

My favorite part was him and adou both thinking they were losing the game because Kentucky was down 11 at the 2 minute mark.

lol, it's easy to show class when you win. (Unless you are a Harbaugh).

Did he show class when he said it was our superbowl or when he sent others out time after time for the postgame interview after losses? The guy is a clown.

I hope he LOSES EVERY GAME HE EVER COACHES IN AGAIN!!!!

He is the reason why Coach Pope had to put together a roster in 6 weeks

I am appreciative of what he gave UK up until 2020, but he has been OVERLY compensated for it!!! He benefited as much as UK or MORE from his time as our coach. It gave him legitimacy that coaching other places NEVER did!!!

He OWES us!!!!

He just told the truth. Did we not act like it was our superbowl? Look at all the UK celebrities that came out. Everyone said it was the best crowd they have ever seen at Rupp. What is wrong with calling it what it was?

You are surely kidding???? If it was our "Superbowl", that would mean UK fans would glady lose every other game, miss the tournament but be happy to beat Arkansas. That's not how UK fans approach seasons. That's laughable!!

He did not create the roster rebuild. The players and the court system created that with this NIL and transfer system.
No question Cal was getting paid, but he was not the only one. We pride ourselves as the top basketball program and our coach should be paid accordingly.
He repaid you last night by allowing you to see him coach to another victory and he was nice enough not to even charge you for it. Maybe you owe him.

I think you owe us an explanation for why you've posted less than 50 times in 15 years but show up to stump for Cal, lol. Your either not a UK fan or are a friend of Cal's. smh

I like how he acknowledged that it was only one game, meaning that the next game, they could be right back in the same old slump. Covering his arse for more losses, since he knows how much they literally played out their arses against UK. Who knows, maybe they are over the hump. Sure wish our guys could have played better. Ruined my weekend. Glad it’s over. 🤬

Has a single Arkansas fan come over here to pop off? I haven't seen any. That says a lot. They know last night was just the occasional game.

Let me just say, I realize my opinion doesn’t mean much because I’m not a Cat. Even though I’m fully aware Cal needed to go and the breakup needed to happen, I will always think UK when I see Cal. I hope UK fans and Cal get far enough away from it when he’s done coaching and welcome him back as a Kentucky legend. I think he’ll want to come back to Lexington to be recognized over anywhere else.
