You are correct that he shouldn’t be checking message boards for suggestions to fill out a roster capable of being freaking competitive and capable of winning a championship. He actually should be on top of everything! But it’s Cal…… and he needs people to help him make the correct decisions in almost everything these last few seasons. How embarrassing is that fact and the situation he has put us in? 9 possible returnees from this past years team, all said nah….. I’ll go elsewhere than play for Cal again. If he wants to coach past this season at KY he best pull out a miracle coup in adding proven veteran players.

And, no other team has, essentially, an entire roster full of guys who have never even played at this level, period. Our “experience” is two SO who rarely saw the floor last season. And, we will have about as much cohesion/chemistry as 5 random dudes in a pickup game at the Y. Just piss poor roster construction/management. The fact that we’re in this position in mid June is mind blowing & flat out unacceptable, regardless of what he might add in the future.

Didn't they rule that a coaching change wasn't a reason to get a waiver to xfer? The portal deadlines are already over, can anyone confirm any WVU player will even be able to xfer?

What exactly happened to Oscar? He was elite, they aren't... and he still never saw the second weekend of the tourney. He would have been POY on better WVU teams had he stayed.
Surely, you don't think CCC had anything to do with his rebounding abilities?
