I am guessing we wont see Willis again until SEC Tournament.
Honestly that sounds encouraging based on how bad it looked. Hopefully it only keeps him out a game or two. We really need to get 100% before the home stretch.
Fast Eddie.Calling the trainer who worked Sheppard's sprain...
He won't miss "weeks" unless it is a "high sprain". And from the replay, I don't think that is the case.Really bad sprains don't keep you out a game or two. They keep you out weeks at a time... Not good for us.
High ankle sprains are usually multi week. I thought as it happened and how he reacted it could have been something far worse, like a break. We have what 4 or 5 games left? Ideally we would just let him get healthy and return for the SEC tourney, but Willis is one of our most important guys.Really bad sprains don't keep you out a game or two. I hope you're correct but the way he couldn't put any weight on it seemed ominous. He won't miss "weeks" unless it is a "high sprain". And from the replay, I don't think that is the case.
I'm not a doc, but I played it back a few times. His full weight didn't seem to come down. Like you, I am "hoping". Willis the past month has been a gift from Heaven.I hope you're correct but the way he couldn't put any weight on it seemed ominous.

I was talking about the SEC and NCAA tournament. Obviously for seeding purposes it would be nice to win out these last few games, but the March run is more important. As wide open as this year seems to be, seeding doesn't seem as important anywayThe home stretch is now.

Dont like seeing so many players wearing low cut shoes.
