It doesn’t seem to be an issue at other schools. It becomes an issue when you let a player come in and use our facilities without playing one second in a game.
Cal is preemptively teeing up excuses is what he's doing. He's usually one step ahead just on the wrong sh!t.
I think there may be too much truth to this. Cal has unlocked every motivational trick he has and just can’t get traction with this group.
This is how you know it’s truly over for him. He’s lost his mojo and it ain’t coming back.
When’s he going to learn to just shut up and get the job done on the court!
Prep for the tournament was 2 months ago. Developing the bench so that our starting 5 doesn't have to play 35 min plus a game.
It's hard to be or get motivated when there's no framework for success in place. He's stated that he doesn't make them work on free throws, doesn't watch game film, doesn't want to play more than seven guys, that the SEC Tournament doesn't matter. And then when they get into the games he's more focused on yelling RuGo and yanking guys out for missing a shot.
If he wants to see success out of this team, he needs to stop running the offense through Oscar. This team has played its best when there is great ball movement enabling good open looks. When nearly every offensive possession goes through Oscar, the team loses energy and players tend to stand around watching Oscar get double and triple teamed resulting in missed shots and turnovers.

CJ needs to play. He gets everybody moving and cutting. Too much one on one last game.
Saint Pete came into tourney last year on a hot streak. Made it to the final 8. Providence is coming in to tourney kinda stumbling hope they continue to stumble!!
Like I’ve said before….I know a coach has to do some mental mind games talk ax part of the job, I just wish Cal could get to wear its at least 50/50 that and some real basketball talk. I’d prefer 90% basketball but there no chance of that happening.
Never. He’s just smart enough to realize that he just does not know how to make this team work, so this is all he has left.
And there it is. Sadly, it’s come to this. Where to go from here? This should have been answered long ago. Too little, too late. We’ve lost out on a few years. We’ll make it up, and it’ll be fun again. Sucks now though.

I laughed so hard at the title of the thread I laughed and cried at the same time. With a vengeance huh? Well they'll come out flatter than pancakes and dig a deep whole that they'll have to come back from. We'll get it down to 4 or 2 but won't get over the hump. Hope I'm wrong.
They will absolutely melt under this pressure. Guarantee we play tight and brick everything.

It appears that Cal may be feeling some pressure , which he should. However, that doesn’t bode well. Last year before they played St. Pete, Ian Eagle texted Matt Jones that Cal was more nervous and and tight than he has ever saw him. MJ said he just kinda blowed it off because it’s just St. Pete, what does he have to be nervous about? Well, the team came out flat and played tight and then lost. I know Cal is feeling more pressure now than last year because of the Hopkins factor in this game. I want Kentucky to win the championship but don’t be surprised if it’s a repeat of last year.
I think the revenge tour was limited to the JV teams....we made them pay dearly for those other teams that keep beating UK. The revenge tour is just another pitiful slogan that Cal coined to temporarily deflect criticism from his record.
Just filled out a bracket, have UK playing Marquette....Kinda feel like we lose that game on paper but who really knows........I feel like TN got a better position than most other teams, it just looks like they could make a run with the teams they have to face.
