Cal Held Individual Meetings Today; Made Bigs Watch Film

I'm pretty sure he never said they never use it period. People made a much bigger deal about it than it actually warranted, especially since it's how he's always done things here.

yeah most everyone miss understand coach cal and fire away with it.

Film session, has been mentioned by him every year...He has said he creates a highlight for players. I don't think this is any different from any other years, except i think he did it more private for each player. Probably extra "i'm going to bench your ass from now on" comment.

Coach Cal did say he doesn't over burden players with film session before the game. But he does provide one or two points to do during the game. Which is based off film session from the coaching staff.

That's why he goes APE sometimes when something doesn't happen, because i'm guessing it's that ONE thing coach cal said to the group NOT to do.

I've done this as a coach and its a feel good moment and if you have a schedule like ours the next couple of weeks it will yield success but I don't think this is going to change the dynamics much bc we have very young players who obviously cannot process what cal says as a coach quick enough

I'm almost ready to make a bet that it's coming. If we read about him having the team play dodgeball or do some "distraction" activity, then that's when it's about time to mail it in. Hopefully they turn it around.

Yeah let's hope we don't see any distraction activities. There is still time to turn it around so I guess we will wait and see what happens
