We left the 2015 Final Four and I told my wife Cal was done @ UK after being outcoached by Wisconsin.
Little did I know how right I was.
I've always said the cupboard would be bare when he left ... and it is.. No coach in waiting, no "coaching philosophy" passed on, no HOF send off.
Cal actually has done UK a favor leaving as soon as he has. Maybe they will be able to scramble some kids that want to play for UK ... not just Cal. Maybe those days are gone.
Thanks for the Natty (imho ....UK won in spite of his poor coaching) and the good years.
Hopefully we get a coach that can win championships! If we do ... the UK players to the NBA stuff will take care of itself.
