Cal doing Cal things

I am not celebrating cause I wanted another sec team to advance.

I am glad though this kind of “management” of game situation does not impact us anymore…., we had to many games like that, where we would come on the losing end and have players and fans with broken hearts…

I am glad Cal is somebody else problem. Grateful for his first 10 years at Kentucky but time to move on and focus on our team.

Probably going to be his best team for a while, maybe the entire time he's at Arkansas honestly.

He took all those players with experience that almost certainly wouldn't have come back this year if he was at UK (I still don't get how they all followed him there but wouldn't have been surprised if literally none of them came back for UK) and all the built in recruits with some pieces left for him at Arkansas.

Now Arkansas fans get to deal with a Cal offseason of complete head-scratching draft declarations and transfers.

I still have PTSD from it honestly lol

Pretty stiff choke job. Gotta feel for the guy a little bit.
What? Why? You do know he left here on his own accord right? Breached his contract on the way out. Left Kentucky basketball with almost no NIL money because he burned bridges with the donors. Then he took all of our recruits and some of our players with him, leaving us with 0 players. Then he had Jerry jones stand in front of a camera and microphone and pledge to double any NIL contribution to keep players from signing with Kentucky.

Yet you feel for him? Man this is just ball, screw him. I hope he and his family enjoy long, healthy, enriched lives. But screw his basketball team.

Mind you this is coming from a guy who was raked over the coals for a long time by about 80 percent of the posters here who thought I was a “cal lover”.

As bad as I was rooting against them I really do feel a little bad for the guys. They played their butts off this year. But then I remember how much joy they all got walking out of Rupp and I got over it pretty quick
I had no animosity toward them but just marveled at how bad they were through the end of January. If Lamont Butler had played in that game on February 2 then Arkansas would have missed the tournament. They never would have felt how good they could be if they buckled down and played Defense.
