Regardless of the outcome of this game Cal makes it embarrassing to be a Kentucky fan at times.
Yep only Cal can take a high scoring offense and screw it up. Glad to see it’s not important to run plays to open up Reed for 3s. You know if he took 10 shots he probably going to miss 4 of them. Why should a player who shoots over 50% get more than 1 shot?
Coaching malpractice has been going on for some time in Lexington.

What you don’t love playing Wagner so many minutes and letting him play through mistakes, but pulling Dillingham every time he makes one?
This game should never have come down to a last second shot. All of this talent and once again blowing a lead in the second half. Cal got gelded by Wisconsin 2015.

This is what got us beat. Sorry to say it, but it’s the truth. DJ had been a massive disappointment this season. He plays solid defense and that’s about all.
We won’t win a damn thing with Cal as the coach. That’s a fact. We can’t beat the refs and our own coach.

Yeah, this one hurts. We're up 15 and went brain dead. I don't understand. Why was Burks even in the game? We pull our scorers out and we've got Burks and Wagner jacking shots. And then on the other end apparently nobody even knows who is guarding whom. That's when the game was lost. We had a chance at the end because Dillingham, who should have played the entire 2nd half, go wild.
We just gave away every ounce of good we had gained by winning at Auburn. Lose to Alabama this weekend and we're playing Thursday in the SECT. We're wildly inconsistent.
I wouldn't be surprised if this team beats Alabama but then turns around and loses at Miss St. Loses to Arkansas and then closes out with a win over Tennessee.
Chances of this team winning 6 in a row- pretty much impossible. I'm tired of the roller coaster. Probably just gonna watch recordings after games end from here, on. Tired of getting hopes up to have them dashed.

I’m not glad we lost but I was getting hope that we would finally put it together. We won’t win shit. Not the SEC, not the SECT, nothing in March with Cal at the helm.
It's really sad to watch Wagner struggle so much ... the poor guy just can't live up to the billing. Seems like a good kid and going to need more years in college. It would be criminal to push or encourage this kid to declare for the draft at the end of this year. He should transfer where he might get some real coaching.
He is a good kid. Don’t get me wrong, I really like DJ. I just never saw him as a game changer type player. I said this 2/3 years ago. Always thought both Reed and Rob were much better prospects. Not sure why DJ was rated so high. Him or JE honestly.
Calipari is an ass clown. To squander this much talent away at Kentucky and only 1 title to show for.
... I don't think Cal really cares about the things you just mentioned. It just happens to be all the things BBN cares about but we're too self-centered and selfish according to Cal ... just a bunch of bennies making him look bad.
Exactly ... he is exceptional in having done so much LESS with so much MORE. Squandered seems to fit the description. This shit show needs to end.

I don’t think Wagner even wants to be here. I’m sure he’s better than he’s shown recently. He’s just playing out the string. But Cal made playing time promises to guys and thats more important to him than winning basketball games. In a couple years Dillingham will be having a Maxey type career and Cal will be bragging that he didn’t even start him.
Problem is , this thread could be 5 years old .. nothings changed , we used to lose because his X and Os we’re so bad , now it’s roster management.. sad
