Most of what is shared on this board are opinions. I thought you realized that. You don't have to agree as I don't have to agree with your opinions.Maybe so. But saying that missing wide open point blank layups is attributable to “desire” is a spectacularly horrible take. Figured you must have at least a masters in psychology.
Insane take by OP, Butler and Chandler are both needed and can give their euro point guard problems, he is turnover prone with a high loose dribbleHis shoulder is clearly not mobile. He loses control of the ball a lot and he can’t play aggressively.
Pope said his shoulder is hanging by a string and taped together.
We might have fooled Troy for a few minutes last night but Illinois isn’t stupid. No chance we get past somebody like Tennessee with Butler playing significantly.
Pope needs to make a decision and stop monkeying with the lineup. Chandler needs to start.
Forgot he did play here. ThanksButler played 22 minutes at Rupp.

PG is different on Pope’s teams. Just needs to be able to guard the other team’s PG. PG under Pope does not initiate the offense.Butler is clearly limited. But Chandler is not the answer. He’s about as far from being a point as Oweh.
Pope has limited options to replace Butler.
Are we a better team with a limited Butler playing? Probably.
The goal is to win. Play the guys that help us win. We can’t call up anyone from the G League to help.
I like Perry but he’s not ready.
Dude you aren’t going to get anyone that understands the role of a PG that is going to agree with your statement.Butler keeps losing control of the ball and can’t shoot. Chandler gave us a spark and separation. Illinois will try to take advantage of a handicapped Butler. Sorry you don’t have good eyesight. Bro.
I definitely think I would. But, of course, a much, much smarter basketball mind will be making the decision.Would you put Butler on Jakucionis at 6'6'' ... versus having him on Boswell at 6'2" ???
You're actually making my point for me.Did Butler play when we beat tennessee at tennessee? Did he play here when we played tennessee? At tennessee no butler but we had robinson, at rupp neither played. We won both games.
Anyone ever had a +22 with zero points? If you think we operate better on offense or defense without butler on the court I don't know what you're looking at. Dude was +22 vs Troy.
Are you saying our JV beat Tennessee? You're actually making my point for me.
