It's a tough spot we're in overall. The contract is killing our options and all, but this isn't basketball, nor is it football at a "football school."
What sucks about UK Football is that its success is really up to people that don't know much about football. It's the same as what Bears fans are dealing with, because their ownership doesn't get it

Stoops happy with OG play. No player stood out to me on either side. NG, DT and DE turned out to be terrible last few games especially. No pass rush all year. DB's just hanging on every play. WR's can't get open most of the time. So much wrong, how can you find that many in the portal? Also, so undisciplined and that is OK with coaches. Because it happens all the time and never gets fixed. Last in the SEC in offense this season. But we need to keep the coaches for continuity. Wonder how much we can rise banking on that? A whole team of mentally untough players. How do you fix that?

I know we had tons of injuries on the DL, but I don't get how bad we became and how little pressure we generated on opposing QBs. Completely fkn baffled at that.

Stoops says he is optimistic about future of program but why? Best players are leaving. Offensive coordinator and OL coach are horrible. He says he wants all of the offensive coaches to return. Definition of insanity!
The last half of the season he was half-assing it. He’ll still get drafted but he’s cost himself a lot of money IMO for his lackadaisical play.
Better question is why does Mitch still have a job himself? Not only does he make the worst contracts alive he also has a major scandal that seems to continue getting swept under the rug.
