Hard to believe college basketball season would've just finished last night. It seems like its been over for 2-3 months already!

Hold The Presses!! (popcorn box presses that it) Saw last night where a computer simulation NCAA tournament had Indiana making it to the elite 8. I expect banners to be hung (if the ceiling will hold it) at Indiana and the Hoosier faithful to show up, Coronavirus be damned, for a ticker tape parade in Bloomington.
They dont live in my head its more like taking your shoes off when you come in to the house. Log into RR kick the dead rivalry and then catch up on post. I lived in Indiana for several years before I escaped and not once that I remember did I ever randomly think about that garbage team other than how proud I was of Indiana State and all the other teams beating them.

I hear you. I just think it’s kind of validating that someone isn’t that bad when we have a multi-thousand count post celebrating Indiana sucking.
If they were truly irrelevant, why aren’t we doing this with UGA, South Carolina, Missouri, LSU, etc?
Does duke do this to NC state? Do the Yankees do this to the Mets? I just don’t believe in punching down and if I was an IU fan I would giggle at the fact that were top 10 every yr and still obsessed with IU.
Think of it more as a 74+ page middle finger when they come trolling. We couldn't generate 74 pages of fun if they didnt suck so bad.
But you understand that the thread was created to make fun of them, when they dont actually read the comments....they just grin seeing this post near the top and know they live rent free in a few heads.
If the rolls were reversed, and i saw a "UK Sucks" thread on the Duke board that is very active, id chuckle knowing they still think about us, and daily at that. Just something to think about.
I gotta be honest, when i go to a rivals board and theres no mention of UK im a little saddened.

I get it, i just think it has an opposite effect. If i went to the Duke board and i dont see UK getting crushed or made fun of...im a little disappointed. It means they dont really care about us enough to chat about. The UL board is full of UK hate, why is that? Cause we live in their heads and i like that.

In Joe Lunardi's updated bracket for next season IU is a 7 seed. I wonder when they will have the popcorn boxes and banners ready?
It isn't we are obsessed with them as much as it is a reminder to them that they suck. It's kind of like the movie The 6th Sense where the kid says he sees dead people but they don't know they are dead. Well IU fans don't realize they suck and this thread might just help one fan understand their pecking order in college basketball. I mean there are 40 year old IU fans who probably don't remember their last title but still feel they are elite....let that sink in for a minute.
As a huge UK fan that occasionally checks out other boards for their opinion, I smile more then grit when I see them bashing UK.
When the opponent has 50 topics and we aren’t even mentioned, I’m a bit disappointed. And when UL was really good in 2013 and we sucked, I couldn’t help but chuckle that half the topics were still about how bad we were. They couldn’t even enjoy the season. It’s the same here.
I can promise you, Indiana fans aren’t aggravated one bit we have a thread this long about them no matter what you say.
