It’ll be interesting to see what the crowd will be at the first round NIT in Bloomington. Will they still be screaming the F bomb, booing, acting like, well acting like Hoosiers?

This happened. IU's prized recruit commits to UK after Cal swoops in in the final two months of his recruitment. Because he's a HOFer, can actually develop talent, and we are Kentucky.
IU misses the tourney for the 3rd year in a row, or 4th time in 6 seasons. Ouch.

Get completely and utterly out-coached by Wichita State in the NIT Quarterfinals, a team we have owned this decade.

At this rate, because IU is incapable of hiring a legit coach, we may be bumping this for decades to come.
I know it's all in good fun, but I just don't know if there's any sport on kicking a puppy like this. Cal's tournament accomplishments since he's been here are about the same as the last 40 years put together at Indiana.

I was wondering the same thing myself. I live in Indianapolis, I need to ask some of the whoosiers I know.
Did this thread start when everyone only had dial up? I'm sure Indiana started sucking in the early 90s and that's when I first got internet.
A whole season plus 3 NIT games....and STILL couldn't manage to get 20 wins!

I can't even find NIT scores and I'm trying to find them. Who won the IU-Wichita St game? Was it televised? Was there even a radio call?
