Bump this thread, if you believe that UNCheats has only 3 legitimate national championships

Think about it. Without the worst academic scandal in the history of college sports. You/we all know that 1/2/3 or more of their players over this 20+ year period of time would have been academically ineligible. And as a result would have left school early to play professional basketball if not in the NBA then certainly overseas. Because of the rampant cheating that took place there. I have ZERO respect for the 3 national championships they won in 1993, 2005 & 2009

Nobody who knows how much Dean cheated should have any respect for that program. He was an assistant under another cheater and taught future coaches how to cheat. That program is, IMO, the worst program in history because they cheated for so many years and never showed any remorse or accepted the consequences.

The silver lining in this cloud is that we can now with absolute proof call out Dean Smyth and Roy "cry me a river" Williams for their cheating ways and question every UNC's athlete's academic record. It was a complete culture of cheating, lying, and hypocrisy.

Please show some integrity. We are not talking about titles that we "think" are ill gotten. We are talking about titles that we KNOW are ill gotten!!! And nobody said they were being taken away. The NCAA decided to give in to the pressure of the UNC legal machine. This is OJ Simpson all over. Yeah, he got acquitted but EVERYONE knows he killed his wife. UNC got away with it but we know they are guilty as H***!

I'm not sure any of their titles are legit. The cheating is institutionalized; who knows when it started. It was probably in place before him, but for sure Deano perfected it.

I've said this for years and years: Dean Smith, one of the "saintly" figures of college basketball....one of the "greatest" coaches of college basketball.....won two NCAA Titles. Both were flukes. TOTAL FLUKES!!!!
