He also respects UK calling them the gold standard. He wants Cals job.
He's wanted the UK job for years. I'd love sweat hog here. For like 3-5 years.
He would do great at UK. He will never be hired at UK.
Cal's ego would be DESTROYED the first couple of years that Bruce was here. The difference between the two is night and day.
Have Cal as the ambassador recruiting for pearl and we would be unstoppable.
It will never happen, but I do believe he would do well here.

Only thing I've ever said is he'd be great at UK. I know he's had some sketchy past, but he'd not need any sketchiness to recruit and coach at Kentucky. And it's CRYSTAL CLEAR he's really, really interested in Kentucky.
However, we are still stuck with Mitch....
He’s a year younger than Cal, which is the only concern. Oats and Hurley are about 13-15 years younger. Oats will be 50 this year; Cal was 50 when he started at UK.

You got that right. Barnhart will never hire anyone who wants to win badly enough to bend the rules. Problem is he is the only AD in the country who feels that way.
I don’t think Pearl will ever have the opportunity to coach here but I really do think if he had of he would have done a great job.
I want Cal totally gone and away from the program
