I loved his hard nose play at UK but he better learn a foreign language because he's making a living overseas. Not everyone is nba material.
Agree ... Won't even be drafted. Will play overseas.

Best case for him is some GM loved Andre Miller and hopes Briscoe can be similar. I think Briscoes ceiling is Andre Miller, which he should really hope for. Not sure that is appreciated in todays NBA though.
Exactly why I said he should really hope for that...not someone you'd hear a player aspire to be, but it'd be a good basketball career.Briscoe would take that in a heart beat. 17 years and $100 million in the league would be great.
UK needs guards that aren't incoming freshmen. Briscoe could have given us some much needed leadership. He should stay because UK needs guards who can't dribble or shoot? He can practice more when not in college. No practice restrictions and no classes to worry about.
He doesn't have a position at the next level. He will get in tip top shape and prove the doubters wrong.I still feel he will be a late 1st rd pick.
One word for you. He can't shoot.UK needs guards that aren't incoming freshmen. Briscoe could have given us some much needed leadership.
No one guards him. They run away. What else were his options? Give the ball to Skal in the lane? If you didn't notice, we haven't been all that great with our post players the past two years. If Briscoe played with AD, KAT, etc. alot of those rejections would be dump offs and oops for easy buckets. He will play in the NBA. Sorry that you are such a hater.
He will make the league. Question is how long will it take. Kidd and Rindo were all stars who couldn't shoot. Not saying he is that level, but his strengths are good enough. Although shorter I see him a lot like Andrew Harrison.
Lol. Briscoe is 6'3" with a 6'8" wingspan who has played out of position for two years. Guy can get into the lane anytime he wants. At the very least he can develop into defensive minded guard if his shot never develops. He's going to collect an NBA check in the future. Sorry.
Briscoe was pressing in January - early February, but then he took a step back and became a facilitator for others, defended and rebounded for us. Gave us a chance to be great, bet he wish he had that last defensive play back vs Maye...one stop way from #9 we had them in OT.
He'll get paid to play somewhere. He's better than Andrew who's getting paid by Memphis. Just needs to drop 6-8 pounds and work on that J. Likely a late 2nd and D league path for him...not everyone is willing to go over seas for more $ and less a chance at their NBA dream.
I'm not a hater, I'm a realist and if I agreed with you, we would both look ill informed. What else were his options? Give the ball to Skal in the lane? LOL, did you butcher his name on purpose?Snadarius Thongwell is projected as a second round pick

You truly have no idea what NBA talent is.
I really wish those old Poythress threads were around. Geniuses here were saying he was going to work in an office.![]()
Briscoe with a 37 inch vertical. Not an athlete.
Can't shoot, below the rim guards, thicker bodies. Briscoe should watch all the Miller tape he can get and aspire to be him.Briscoe shouldn't be in the same sentence with Andre Miller either.
Talk about basketball incompetence....
Miller was excellent, below the rim non shooter like Briscoe. Briscoe should aspire to have a career and similar game as him, but I am not sure that style is appreciated as much in today's NBA. Sadly, I think it's Briscoes best style chance to be an NBA guy.Andre Miller was a lottery pick and made the All-Rookie team too. He was a pretty good player for many years. Briscoe should be so lucky.
Weather he's 6'0" or 6'2" doesn't matter you schmuck, he's a below the rim player. Hopefully you understand what that means. He will not be in the NBA, he has nothing that an NBA team is going to waste a pick on.
You already look uninformed when you said Briscoe was six foot. Idiot.
No, he really doesn't.Maybe he will go pro in track.
You really don't know too much about this stuff, do ya?
