The bottomline is Briscoe will have a career in basketball if he wants to play overseas and make very good money doing it. Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
I just think it is disappointing when fans rave about a player upon entering Kentucky. Then when the player does not produce like we want and leaves, many turn their back on him. That is until he makes it in the NBA and then we celebrate again and reclaim him.Internet is serious business.
He had a triple double, which was amazing.
Betting he's a guy like Orton and Lamb that we never see back for a UK game/function.
Hello Troll. Actually many of us supported Brisco all the way through and in my opinion he deserved that support. How ever he and his father blamed everyone but himself for lack of NBA attention and that soured some support.I just think it is disappointing when fans rave about a player upon entering Kentucky. Some of these guys slack up and know they won't be eligible, academically, so they have no choice but to go. Not saying that was Briscoe's situation but wouldn't be surprised.
Cal wouldn't let that happen I wouldn't think....but it is a well known fact the dude didn't like school

Wait, Cal promises minutes and starting jobs now? You earn it, you get it. He did not earn more minutes than Ulis or Fox, in fact, he got more minutes than he deserved imo.Briscoe left because he kept beIN recruited over. Ulis was supposed to be backup and 4yr player. Briscoe was a top pg coming out of hs...he sacrificed his game for the program. Noone could of predicted Ulis blowing up. Murray was a July commit. I wish Briscoe the best, he showed what is true sacrifice.

Not sure he's good enough.Briscoe will end up playing international ball.
You have no clue what happened behind the scenes.Hello Troll. Actually many of us supported Brisco all the way through and in my opinion he deserved that support. How ever he and his father blamed everyone but himself for lack of NBA attention and that soured some support.
I can accept it, but I'm unable to move on with my life.Briscoe doesn't play for UK any longer. I'm willing to accept that and move on with my life.
Put on your red slippers, step on the baseline three times, and repeat "I think I can".I can accept it, but I'm unable to move on with my life.
How is a 21 year old man a kid?
Sounds like too much work.Put on your red slippers, step on the baseline three times, and repeat "I think I can".
You are right but his fathers comments were quite public and he also seemed ready to cut his U.K. ties base on his interview. Stevie Wonder could see that. You have no clue what happened behind the scenes.
All that is yet to be seen. Selling him short to act like he is a scrub. I think he will play in a an NBA game and but he will be back and forth between the D league and the league .No we just don't act like Briscoe is a real NBA player, hell he wouldn't even dominate the G-League. He could play with ppl overseas

I take it that you've not spent much time around 21 year old's recently? Trust me, he is still a child in every way except physically.
One you think you're ready for the NBA, you aren't considered a kid...
There's the difference. Not being "Considered" a kid is far different than being a mature adult. I look at the decisions that these kids make and see them as immature adolescents that still need time to grow and mature. That has nothing to do with age or when they choose to leave school for the NBA. And truthfully it has nothing to do with whether a kid is nice and good or not. It has to do with how they handle life decisions. One you think you're ready for the NBA, you aren't considered a kid...
