Brea

Pope said yesterday I believe that he and Brea had a heart to heart about defense before the South Carolina game. My question is how did he all of a sudden turn into this amazing defender with such quickness and good hands and lateral quickness? He was unbelievable in the first half.

Brea him shoot gooder! Him net make go swish!

Wish they would screen and double screen for him. Like to see him get some 3s that aren’t step backs over a defender.

Do like he’s driving it more and love those no look assists.

Guy is 6 7. Rebound a bit and draw some free throws.

Like watching him play. Sweet stroke

Everyone was talking about how we missed on Lanier.

Two games Lanier 3-17 from 3, Brea 6-9.
Lanier 25 pts, Brea 29 Pts
Lanier 0 wins, Brea 2 wins

I'm happy with our guy :D
Still wish we got Lanier with all our injuries, we be nice to have them as a pair on the perimeter.

his threes were epic, but that penetrating move for the oweh alley oop was awesome as well.

i’d like to see him develop more of that inside-the-arc creativity. even if it’s to set up a mid range game. he needs to be a threat to do anything else and then he will be even a greater weapon.

I would like to see the ball go to Brea when the shot clock is running down. I feel like we normally go to Oweh in this situation and it rarely if ever works out.

I fully realize that Brea will not make all or perhaps even most of these step back threes, but I’ll take the percentages of him shooting over Oweh taking long and bricking layups.

I just rewatched this play oh my it was smooth. I’d like to see him create like that more.

He's learning to make things happen when they're face guarding him to take away the 3. He knew they'd be on him hard after the two step backs and read that play to perfection. He's turning into one of my favorite transfers ever.

Somebody in the NBA will give him a long hard look if he plays like he has the last few games
Several mock drafts have already had him in the second round for most of the season.

When a guy can shoot like this and has the length that he has - you try to get him to at least be mediocre defensively and see what happens.
