Solid? Bragg way underperformed. Maybe Self didn't use him right, but I just didn't see a star there.
Didn't say he was a star just a solid player. Never got enough minutes.
Bragg is talented but he hasn't shown it with any consistency. He could still develop into a quality big man though.
I liked him as a prospect in high school but he disappointed on and off the court at KU.

I watched Bragg play in high school in person and he was a very good player. He was more or less a forward who is also a facilitator could see the court very well and could pass the ball with the best of them. Had a nice touch from outside and can mix it Up downlow. Was a player who played quietly but by the end of the night he would have 20 points 12 rebounds and six assists
Yeah, his off the court antics are nothing to bragg about.

Please. Self doesn't have the ability to dictate these kinds of things when he's begging talent to pick Kansas as the alternate option.
If Self doesn't make a final four by 2020 do you want him fired. Yes or no.

Tbh, I think both are overrated coaches who choke on the biggest stage. It's no coincidence that both of their titles have come from playing each other. Somebody had to win.
I have an expectation that Kansas should make the Final Four each season. Yes, I would be disappoint. Winning NCAA Championships is the measurement not Big12 titles, #1 Recruiting Classes or getting the most kids in the NBA Draft.

Bragg has no motor... and no desire to mix it up. He's built to be a college star, but doesn't have it in him... at least not yet. Will be interesting to see if Hurley can get something out of him that Self couldn't... or if maybe it just starts clicking for him. Though, I'm glad he didn't end up in the SEC.
This kid is a better talent than he has shown so far at Ku. For whatever reason, Self and Bragg just is not a good mix. It is probably best the kid is transfering and starting over. I'm not so sure he picked the right school to do that, but that is on him. When a kid doesn't have the work ethic to become the best he can become, going to a party school is probably not the smartest choice he has made lately. I predict the kid will show he has talent once he starts getting starter minutes again. We're talking about a kid that should grab a double double just about every game with a 4 or 5 AST thrown in. Not the player many thought while coming to Ku, but still has a lot of upside and the right coach may just reach the kid, something Self obviously couldn't get done.
RC_Texas Bill Self is a very good coach at least that is how I feel. I'm not one to recognize no. of conference domination by how many years your team excels in it. Kansas was a great team last year but can't denie your loss of point guard Frank Mason makes me happy. I hope this series continues for a long time. All the USA loves these games. The JayHawks could move a modest two game winning streak to 3 with our young team early at the Tournament of Champions. You are the beast Kansas poster that visits with us consistently being open minded in my opinion. Don't always agree but I like to see you drop by. Peace
