Regardless of relationship, I think that having a coach from another school in any capacity on any game trip with you is a little odd, yes. Especially when that school is in your own conference.

Now I don’t think it’s a huge deal - it’s only July exhibitions so there’s not a ton of spying to be done - but it’s still a questionable move, IMO.

Just reaping the benefits of being a coaches son, even if you are at a rival. As long as you act like you don't like each other when on TV, everything's good.
