BOZICH | UK 3rd, IU 4th, U of L 17th in Lindy's college basketball preview

This production always has same "eye grabs". They've gotta draw some intrigue and differ from other publications.

I'd say UK not being #1 is certainly not a bad thing. I hope we're chasing the pack, rather than leading it all year.

I don't know about IU being ranked 4th, but they should be really good. They will have one of the best backcourts in the country in Yogi and Blackmon.

IU is going to be better than most on this board will give them credit for.

Their backcourt is going to be very good.

They are paper thin inside, though. They are a one man show inside with Bryant.

But a backcourt with Ferrell and Blackmon could take them deep into the tourney.

That is too high for UofL and IU and too low for UK. I would put it like this:

UK- 1 or 2
IU- 9 or 10
UofL- 22 to 25

No way in hell the Indiana Boozers are the 4th best team in the country....i literally laughed out loud when i read that

It doesn't bother me in the least we're not # 1; it somewhat takes the proverbial bulls eye off of us.

IU # 4? No way, I don't care how good their backcourt is; MAYBE @ # 15 or so, IMO.

Boy they are giving Bryant a lot of credit. IU returns 4 starters from a 14 loss team, add Bryant and they jump to # 4. I guess Bryant, a 4 star player is worth an additional 10 victories. Crazy

KY's backcourt of Ulis/Briscoe/Murray/Mulder is light year's better than Indiana's. Let's put it this way : Are either Blackmon or Yogi rated ahead of Murray or Briscoe in the mock 2016 drafts?

It's effin Bozich, so, ok...but for the sake of discussion:

Yep, Hogg. I won't discount their backcourt/Troy Williams but an awful lot of faith in Bryant to be the previously missing frontcourt piece that propels them to real success this season.

Do think they will be a good team but man, #4 is high.

I'm guessing that somewhere the lilbros are keeping a stat that they have been ranked inside the top 20 in preseason polls back to the year 19-something or other which they will tell us is the longest streak in the nation. Jurich then told Bozo to go ahead and rank them so the propaganda department can spin that one for their fans to lap up.
