Bowl tie ins

Would love to see them disappear. Should just go down the bcs rankings and slot teams in. Thoughts?

They should keep the tie-ins, but re-do them. It’s rarely even matchups for SEC teams. Yet still seem to stick forks in the Little Ten’s ass.

As we tend to land a lot of teams in the NYD6, four this year, it tends to force teams to “punch above their weight Class,” in all bowls below that level.

We were ranked below Penn State and Iowa in our Citrus Bowls, below NC State and Georgia Tech in our Gator Bowl games, and behind a 9-3 Northwestern in our 2017 MCB.

IIRC, neither Iowa (MCB, 2022) nor Virginia Tech (Belk, 2019) were ranked, but I think each had a better win/loss record coming into those respective bowls.

The conference does pretty good in the win/loss column, though!
