Bowl Projections

Mmmmm.

Three TD passes, two to the new record holder for TD passes as a frosh at Kentucky.

Couldda’ been better, but winning SEC thrillers on the road never gets old for
me.
95 yards passing last week. 160 yards this week. Poor offense with a supposed 1st round QB pick. If you are projected that high, stoops should have a O in place to highlight him.

If Tampa, I hope not. Beating FSU would not be as high profile as the 3rd-4th best Big Ten team.
Im not so sure about that Hack. FSU is 6-3 now and has a win over LSU in New Orleans. Plus they destroyed the Canes in Miami 45-3.
They could win out to finish 9-3 and ranked in the top 20.
FSU is back.

160 yards, yeah, but Three TD passes, no interceptions and a win, I’ll take it.

So Bama losing last night, with Ole Miss looming next week, is Ole Miss trying to poise themselves to knock Bama out of NY6 consideration, and likely costing the SEC two playoff teams unless UT wins out and gets an at large. But LSU might have something to say about that.

Can't figure why so many of y'all assume Knoxville is a playoff lock

A non division winning team who's best win is over another (likely) non division winner. You're on crack to think that gets in over an undefeated Big 12 champ or 1 loss Pac 12 champ.

Bama getting beat pushes them out of the playoffs. Unless Tennessee can hang in and squeak in, or Ole Miss run the table, the SEC will only have one. It will also depend what TCU does as far as taking up a playoff spot.

Citrus bowl isn’t bad

College football needs to get with the times. Every other sport pro, or college has a post season tournament or playoff that matters. Yeah 4 is ok and 12 is better but instead of exhibition Bowls I'd rather see 24 teams in a playoff with top 8 getting a first round bye.

No one cares about anyone outside top 25.

I’d like a PAC12 or BIG12 opponent for the novelty of it but the most prestige would come from beating a BIG10 or Clemson/FSU/Notre Dame from the ACC.

What are you going to run Ole Wise one with our stellar pass protection?

I agree but in college football more than any sport the top teams are clear as day. The same teams will make it no matter what, every year there is only like 4-5 teams that have a shot at winning it, the bigger you make the playoffs the more blowouts and lopsided games there will be. 12 teams will be okay, if we accept that half those games will be over by halftime

UTn should win out. Think they have So Car, Vandy and MO left.

Jerry Palm currently has us in the Music City Bowl with Florida in the Outback. Why would they get a better bowl game when we beat them on their home field and have a better record???

Outback Bowl will be able to pick who they want. The rationale MAY be better attendance with Florida being local. Although I would disagree and it would be better for the local economy with people traveling in.

They did beat the SEC West champ by a bunch on their field if LSU wins one of the last two.

It’s going to end up being Georgia, Ohio st/Michigan winner, TCU, and Tennessee, and if TCU loses they will put the Ohio st/Michigan loser in as well

If we finish 8-4, My heart says Outback but my gut says Gator.

8-4 is a step backward, but considering all the injuries, new coaches, and the turnover on the O-line, it’s acceptable. We all know it would be 9-3 if Levis hadn’t been out for USCjr. They are awful.

Anything less than 8-4 and the season is definitely a failure.
You forgetting OM?

And the STUDS...his offensive philosophy does neither. To be a little fair though, the OL is horribly weak!
