Seems like Booker has improved his defense and as a result is getting consistent minutes, and has taken all of Goodwin's minutes as Goodwin is getting DNP-Coaches Decision a lot lately. Booker played 33 minutes tonight against the Bulls.

Also, Booker is shooting 15/21 from 3 so far this year which is incredible at any time.

Fi you're an NBA guard and can't shoot, you better be a lockdown defensive player or a good point guard or else you'll get replaced. Likely the case with Goodwin. His best hope is to turn into a Tony Allen type, and it took Allen 7 years to get there.

I remember times last year where it felt like Booker was almost automatic from three-point range. He was streaky though.

Archie has a lot of athleticism but hernias to get consistent on his j. Booker going to be a player.

From everything I've read Goodwin is well on his way to being a great defender. Guy is strong/long for his position and has the athleticism to be a great defender. The Suns have been high on him because they love his work ethic and believe he will become that Allen-type of wing/guard defender.

Only bad problem about having so many UK players on one team, especially at the same position. One of them was bound to lose minutes.

Defense is probably the same, just less of a requirement in the NBA.

But good for Booker! Glad to see him having success.

Not surprised.

No offense to Archie, he's a great athlete but athleticism can only get you so far and you do need to have SOME basketball skills in order to excel at basketball. Booker is simply a better basketball player and has a much higher ceiling because of his offensive capabilities. 3 point shooters have never been in more demand than they are right now given the current rules and rise of Curry.
