FIFYI’m hopeful that Davis suddenly finds his stride again. He’ll get a lot more minutes than he’s been getting.

You’re a weird dude. I’d argue there’s only a handful of people on this board that wanted Cal gone as long as I did. Do a search on CincyUKFan and see what you find chief.FIFY
here is some comments on a video that just released, I’ll post the one from last night and the forum. Can you post link to the board you are reading?
Uhhh, weird would be linking a post from another user because you cant reference one of your own. Are you saying that you were once that poster?? How would you even know that guy if you just joined this year and hes gone now? Thanks for pointing out who you used to be. I see now since you are/were both 💯 negative on UK.You’re a weird dude. I’d argue there’s only a handful of people on this board that wanted Cal gone as long as I did. Do a search on CincyUKFan and see what you find chief.

Cal Trending Down
There was a time in the Tubby era where the majority of fans knew we needed to move on. We appreciated his winning the title with Pitino’s players and all the success he had after that, but we collectively knew his days were numbered. Am I alone in wondering if we’re not seeing the same thing...kentucky.forums.rivals.com
Here’s a funny one.Can you post link to the board you are reading?
Who is responsible for preparation? Cal is quickly being regarded in Arkansas as the coach that BBN said he was. He's lining himself up behind the 8 ball. This team isn't making the NCAAT this year (maybe not the NIT) and if this repeats next year, Hog fans will turn on Cal. The BOT is hamstrung since Tyson calls the shots and if he wants Cal, Cal stays. Unless there is a big turnout by next year things are gonna get ugly in Fayetteville.Quote from: WorfHog on January 11, 2025, 06:19:00 PMBUT...
This team is terrible. They play soft defense and can't hit the broad side of Barnhill.
The SEC is legit this year, and we are unprepared for the games.
That's the problem, he's been with them for 9 months and should know they can't shoot. His job is to adjust to put them in a position they can succeed. They run the same offensive set every time. Not good coaching and he doesn't know how or doesn't want to adjustQuote from: cincokids on January 11, 2025, 08:34:28 PMI don't recall seeing Cal out there taking any shots. 🤷♂️
If we could make 3-4 3-pointers in a half instead of 1, the games would be totally different.
But until these players figure out how to make shots, all Cal can do is keep coaching.
Always been a realist. And you thought Cal pooped rainbowsUhhh, weird would be linking a post from another user because you cant reference one of your own. PS, nobody disputes that you don’t like Cal but you are literally shutting down anybody here that voices hope for UK’s season. What a clown act.
LOL, whatever Cincy fraud. You just linked the most insufferable poster here until they finally ran him/YOU off. Deranged dude that hates UK. Ignored. I called for Cal to go and wanted Pope from day one. Sorry UK hasn’t missed a beat. That bugs you.Always been a realist. And you thought Cal pooped rainbows
I hope not they may get a coach that knows how to win if they get rid of CowSame thing he is doing to Ark. that he did at UK. Hopefully the Ark. fans turn on Calipari.
I don’t know what you’re watching.I was honestly a bit concerned about their guards abusing our defensively weak guards and making it a game. But now I think we blow them out.
They just lost their best player and shortened a weak bench, they will not play better.I predict the hogs will be better as they will play looser with less pressure.
that 9 win season was void of cup cake mid major games, take out the mid majors and this Arkansas team only has 1 win over Miami. their season so far , needs 8 more wins to reach what that covid year team did. crazy huhWith the exception of the 9-16 season, they're getting it worse, but some of that is because the conference is harder than it has ever been.
Miami is awful, Michigan is Arkansas' best win. Point taken though.that 9 win season was void of cup cake mid major games, take out the mid majors and this Arkansas team only has 1 win over Miami. their season so far , needs 8 more wins to reach what that covid year team did. crazy huh
he was actually got NIL to be here. so I think he was the first year of NIL. I remember reading he supposedly got a million to just sit on his ass here.Looking back, I guess we can be thankful Sharpe was pre-NIL or he not only would have taken a free scholarship with all the extras, but sat on the bench while raking in half a mil or more probably. Rick Barnes may have told him "To get in there and do what you're getting paid to do", but I don't think Cal would have.
But he was never a Uk guy. He was a fastest track to the nba Cal guy .He wouldn’t be “hurt” if he was playing here. He would very productive with a teaching coach like Pope. Hated to see him go with the fraud.
Right? Nothing against Boogie, but I was 100% fine with all his recruits following him somewhere else. He never sold them on Kentucky anyway. But he was never a Uk guy. He was a fastest track to the nba Cal guy .
I've always questioned how happy any of the former UK players or recruits are that they are playing for Arkansas.Boogie went off toward the end of the LSU game, the only reason Arkansas even had a chance to win that game was because he took over offensively.
This was after his supposed season ending hand injury happened. Man, what a world.
Including himselfCal’s only innovation in the last decade was learning how to hide people.
He’s going to need to step up his passing game though. His last three games he has a combined total of ONE assist. And he plays about 35 minutes a game.At least the pieces will fit better for Ark. Wagner and Fland don't fit together. Both are ball-dominant PGs. Now some will say that Wagner isn't a PG, but I think he's a PG or nothing. I believe Ark. might be better, although still a mess, through Calipari being forced to be without Fland or Wagner.
Terrapin - were you cincyukfan? You’re a weird dude. I’d argue there’s only a handful of people on this board that wanted Cal gone as long as I did. Do a search on CincyUKFan and see what you find chief.

I heard he’s gonna have to use Billy Richmond as the back up PG. So now you have Wagner and Richmond Taking turns and they couldn’t run offense with an actual great PG.Oh it’s unlikely forsure. Something about teams losing their best players and somehow digging deep and rallying happens somewhat frequently in sports in general though. But I also wouldn’t be shocked if they go like 2-16 in conference play lol
I think this could be a blessing in disguise for them, we’ve seen injuries make Cal do what his stubbornness wouldn’t let him do otherwise. Johnell Davis will have to get more minutes and be a bigger focal point of the offense. This reminds me of when Wheeler got hurt and Cal was forced to play TyTy at point like fans had been wanting to see all year, and TyTy set the single game assist record shortly after.I’m gonna go out on a limb and say they make a (slight) surprising rally without him but still miss the tournament
This is just the continuation of his downward arc he was on honestly. I thought talent would save him from a season like this but it hasn’t.I thought Cal “might” regain some fire and have something to prove. I gave that a 40% chance. The other 60% was that he’d be exactly the same as he was at UK.
I never saw this bad of a season coming.
Unfortunately for them their TyTy already plays 34 minutes a game. He can’t run a team like him (Wagner) and we all know how that will look.I think this could be a blessing in disguise for them, we’ve seen injuries make Cal do what his stubbornness wouldn’t let him do otherwise. Agree with that. Turns out he just moved his NBA farm team to Fayetteville.I thought Cal “might” regain some fire and have something to prove. I gave that a 40% chance. The other 60% was that he’d be exactly the same as he was at UK.

This is the type of ish Cal will do and be very okay with him doing. You have a boo boo on your hand? Okay, lets just shut you down for the year so your draft stock stays high and our team suffers (most likely unless lightning strikes).****hand injury….
….or is the season an epic failure and the draft stock protecting begins?
Yeah it’s definitely possible that instead of turning to Davis, Cal tells Wagner “this is your chance buddy!”Unfortunately for them their TyTy already plays 34 minutes a game. He can’t run a team like him (Wagner) and we all know how that will look.
You know he will, Wagner is his guy. Davis has looked so bad, I think this will help him because he will be forced to have the ball again. You know Cal will give Wagner anything he wants.Yeah it’s definitely possible that instead of turning to Davis, Cal tells Wagner “this is your chance buddy!”
Is there any way for you two to maybe get each other‘s phone numbers so you can argue that way?Always been a realist. And you thought Cal pooped rainbows
