Bol Bol could he be our 1st commitment for 2018 ?

Would love to get him, bagley, O'Neal, quickly, and of course shitti ditto just for the name lol. I know Moses brown Is a top target for us but if we could get bagley Kermit and I would be sore as hell

I'll go ahead and be a jerk about this. He doesn't look like anything special to me.

He would definitely have to develop. He's a bit awkward athletically but it hard not to be when you're 7'1 at 16.

One of those guys who would be so good if they played three years of college. I'm not sure UK is the right place for him unless he is fine with being a second round pick or not being OAD.

I really didn't think Bol Bol was any kind of priority, especially if the staff thinks Richards returns as a soph.

But maybe he doesn't and we need multiple C/PF players to fill the roster............

That kid has more talent in his pinkie then 90% of all players ,if he develops even at a minimal level he's a average NBA player ...if he fully develops he will be extremely goooooooooddddd!

Young man has excellent range on his jumper. Dangerous out to the arc. Reminds me a bit of Skal.

You don't turn down a 7-2 talented big man that is athletic and shoot 3's already at this point in his career. Good grief, who wouldn't take this kid unless there were some issues, and I am not ware of anything like that.

Hate to see a kid undernourished.

But I'm still holding out a little hope Bol Bol could get Beri-Beri.

Kid looks awkward, and I understand the hesitation because of that, but people don't seem to be noticing that Bol is nearly as long as Bamba. And he can shoot. He will probably be in everyone's Top 10 in a few months, and Jerry Meyer already has him at 5.

I still don't know- I question how much a kid that thin and awkward will be able to do in the lane when he's facing full grown men who are focused on stopping him. Defensively, the length is great, but length only takes you so far if you're easily pushed around and lack the quick twitch element that AD and Noel have (see Skal Labissiere and Wenyen Gabriel as references). So I'm torn.

He played against Bagley last weekend in the EYBL and put up similar numbers (though it doesn't appear they guarded each other much, and Bol's team is waaaaaaaaay better than Bagley's), and his overall EYBL stats so far are nearly as dominant as Bagley's.

Damn that blows. Is that a rumor or is it basically set in stone already?
Hey W2B Bol Bol would be a great first addition. Coach will peruse Bagley into the end. Can see UK going after Mosses Brown of New York 7'1" Cameron Reddish 6'8" Immanuel Quickley (actually there are at least 3 more point guards looking strong) My gosh Zion Williamson A Beast at 6'6".
Brown of New York we haven't offered yet. My understanding is we have made about 8 offers so far and very early in the strongest class in awhile.

Considering his genes, Bol could grow to 7'3" or 7'4" and with the way his stock has skyrocketed over the last couple of weeks. The thought of him teaming with 6'11" phenom Marvin Bagley at Kentucky is enough to make the rest of the college basketball world have a whole lot of sleepless nights.

He's 7'1"-7'2" with the ability to hit shots and dribble as a 16 year old. He's dominating arguably the toughest competition he can face. Everybody is saying that he will be the second best prospect in the class......

Bagley's skills are ridiculous for his age. Man oh man, would Cal love to have a weapon like that at UK. Definitely a 4 for sure. Can shoot, pass, and distribute. Kid is a stud without a doubt. Sure hope works his deal with this kid. Bol is not as polished, but you can't teach 7-2. Let KP get with him and give him an edge and he would be a monster.

He isn't that skinny either he is maybe a little bigger than Bamba even saw him in that game with O'Neal he lead the fast break and went JR Rider through his legs for the dunk. Shoots 3 money from the corner. Plus he has that sick shot blocking length Cal loves a very Mo Bamba like wings span at 7ft9 did we mention he is 16. So he offers offense which Bamba needs some work on and he offers freakish length like Bamba so not seeing what you don't see

You need to update your evaluation he has blown up on the aau circuit expected to be top 3 by rivals next ranking. His 2017 measurements are off the charts 7ft2 7ft9 wingspan 225lb second leading scorer at EYBL and did it vs Reddish and Bagley kicker is best 3 point shooter in AAU so far 15 of 28 for 53 percent. Can even handle has mo Bamba length and better offense than Towns so yeah this kid is top goes top 5 in the 19 draft. To think Bill Self wrote this kid off just like WCS he felt like Bol a 16 year old at the time was a bad seed bad attitude uncoachable the kid did have some maturing to do. But hell he lost his dad when he was 10 so he was a little behind now he is all good.
