Bobby Knight is the basketball version of Joe Paterno…

Yeah, but he gave Landon Turner $100 or something so he's a good guy.
Just the biggest ahole.

I guess this story has been out there for a while, bit I apparently missed it.
A college age man is at fault to allow a Dr to do the things they claim. I think they are just looking for a payday. How many on this board would allow this behavior. I feel like the Dr would be visiting a dentist to get new teeth to replace the ones he lost from a fist.

I have no idea what really happened but it's strange you only see four obscure players and Charlie Miller as plaintiffs.
Miller a McDonald's AA out of Miami had a very lackluster career.
Makes you wonder if others will step forward or not

So what's everyone's consensus on what happened?
Was the Doc a perv or did he do it as a form of punishment/humiliation at the bequest of Knight?

Regardless, if you find out the team doctor is molesting your players and you do nothing about it, you support it. Might not have been his idea, but when he learned about it he liked it. Given that, I would say you aren't far off - doc was probably doing it on Knight's orders.

Best thing that could have happened to Knight would have been getting his ass kicked by Lynn Nance in 74 after he cuffed Joe B on the back of the head.

Too young to remember that one but I've seen pics

I DO remember how intense the UK-IU rivalry was in the 80s though - that was a game you circled on your calendar

Choked player, denied it, was caught on video in the act, was not fired for it. Assholes that preach discipline, while having none, are the worst!

Not even close to PSU offense.
Yeah, this sounds closer to the Ohio St scandal where the wrestlers were being sexually assaulted by team Dr. Richard Strauss, yet head coach Russ Hellickson(sp?) and assistant Gym Jordan ignored the complaints. At Pedophile State, the blame stretched out in many directions, from JoPa to Mike McQuary to PSU administrators. All of them were more concenred with their careers and image of the program than they were of reigning in a monster like Sandusky. While I don't believe in a Heaven or Hell, it would be great if there were some afterlife where a 13 year old Joe Paterno has been sitting in a prison cell waiting for Jerry Sandusky to die and be his cellmate for eternity. After Mike McQuary caught Sandusky in the field house shower room with a kid and told Paterno (instead of being a HERO and beating Sandusky to within an inch of his life before calling the cops), Paterno asked Sandusky for his keys to the facility, as if to say "you're gonna have to rape these kids somewhere else". The Larry Nassar scandal at Sparty (I'm noticing a B1G trend here) is a close second, but IMO, the PSU scandal is the most sordid sports scandal of all time.
