Understandably lost in the virus coverage, I saw where Bill Canan and Henry Vance must have died almost on the same day, because their obituaries were in the Lexington Herald Leader in the same edition. Predictably, neither obit mentioned their involvement in the Bluegrass Conspiracy and the other sordid events of the 1970s.

I may be the only Lexington resident that has never read the book, since I have a lot of spare time on my hands, is it worth reading?

Been a long long time since hearing Bill Canan's (sp) name. Hopefully never hear it again now. Did many of us wrong back in early 70's and on. Don't rest in peace!

I am going to need to read this.

Another good KY book is "The Syndicate Wife" a lot about Newport Kentucky back in the gangster days.
