I know. That is why I doubt he leaves stoops. Though he has coached with him 12 years
Vince is only TE coach for a name. He is the recruiting coordinator. The guys that left were the backups and wanted a better situation. I hope you’re right but I really doubt that says he is leaving
If our recruiting was so good then why were we so bad this year? Smoke and mirrors. We get our players hyped up by the media and coaching staff. Expectations go up . However results speak for themselves. 7-6 and then 4-8. Our wins are mostly against directional schools and we challenge for last place in our conference. And unfortunately even the great Larry Vaught and Jack Pilgram have stated that there is little chance we have a winning record in 2025 . If our recruiting as so great why is our OL so bad? Coaching ? Perhaps. But lack of talent? For sure!
Like I said on pay board, he is the PT Barnum on college football. He believes he is "The Greatest Show on Earth".

You’re right about the TE position by name only. I really want him to stay for the recruiting. This past seasons results not withstanding, our recruiting has consistently improved over the years. He’s been responsible for all of our high impact kids. When he leaves we will see a dip in recruiting unless stoops is also gone and a new regime is here. Even still, they would have to be on their game. A top 25 class at Kentucky doesn’t come easy
Marrow leaving will more than likely be the final nail in the coffin of Stoops. Marrow does the dirty work and is the glue that holds everything together. Who cares how recruiting goes this season; there's a huge percentage chance we will have a new head coach in December 2025. I can't see Stoops and this staff pulling everything together to have a successful season. 2025 is going to be long and miserable for UK football and fans.
Have to weigh in one more time . Marrow has had much improved facilities to recruit players to than Phillips and Brooks thanks to Joe Craft and Mitch Barnhart. That is one of the major reasons our recruiting appears to be improved but unfortunately the recent results speak to a decline in recruiting especially on the O-line.
He’s definitely been a big boost to the program but like many coaches has gotten too comfortable over time and has yet to have a TE drafted

I know it’s a small position group but that is very telling. Over 12 years and not a single guy drafted. I can’t think of another position on our team that is true. WR would probably be next tho. I know Wandale was drafted.
Maybe it is Morrow and not Marrow. He misspells everything he puts on social media anyway. If he’s reading this chat he probably doesn’t even notice it.
I think I would tell him to go unless he is the one in charge of the portal evaluations. I would much rather spend 1.3M on someone that can develop a plan in the portal.

Wandale, Levis, ray are about all i can think of that got drafted on O. At least from skill guys. Crod and benny were drafted late too i think.
Fortner was our highest drafted ol. We had a few others but they were really late.
Almost all our picke over years were on defense. Every one of those guys projects but some drafted very high. Deonne will be the first highly rated incoming gut we'll put in iirc.
He can give me a call if he needs help packing. Same for the rest of the staff. Maybe we can get UNC to take Stoops on as DC.
No info, but he will be staying again.. very excited about turning it around. Knows this is the team to get it done.

Does anyone think Belichick is going to college for the first time as a head coach to recruit? He will pay someone a handsome salary to handle those responsibilities.
