Nah I don't think that's it at all. You can acknowledge that they have better players and is played at an overall higher level and not like it as much.

The quality of play and players is not a direct indicator of how much someone will enjoy a sport. I'd much rather watch the little league world series than the college or MLB. College over NFL, college over NBA. That doesn't mean I an most people don't acknowledge many of the things stated by Bilas and in this thread.

To me, the biggest problem MCBB has is the atrocious level of officiating. Officials have made MCBB almost unwatchable, unfortunately. Go to quarters and up the fouls a player can commit. Limit the officials ability to effect the game so drastically.

They are both in the toilet currently. College has too many trades, err.. thats pros... or, ?? There is next to no loyalty or players that stick to the same team anymore. College football is turning this way more and more as well. Pro Football is still okay though. I guess the times, they are a changin'.

I mean I’m much more passionate about college basketball (not close) but going to an NBA game in person is a much better experience for your random person off the street that doesn’t care about this like we do.

College basketball fans never will agree about this, but I feel it’s true. College hoops remains my favorite sport but the game is a shell of itself ever since the end of the 90s.

I don’t necessarily disagree. I watched most of this year’s NBA playoffs and didn’t have to sit through a single rock fight where both teams struggled to break 60 or one team used every second of the shot clock on every single possession.

My issue is I don’t have an NBA team I am emotionally invested in.

I'm a UK fan. Not a NBA or NFL fan. I watch the pros to support the UK players. As I've gotten older my priorities change. I don't gamble, so that makes my allegiance simpler. Been following my team since early 70s.

If the nba wasn’t a better product there would be something ridiculously wrong. Of course if you are vested in cbb with your program he’s right that’s different. I don’t even think it’s worth the words on the paper to point out a league a pro league that is situated in every major city. Has the best of the best playing. Most of those players were the best in cbb. With that said I didn’t watch an entire nba game is nice this season and only watch a little okc down the stretch
