Big Tornadoes In Southern Kentucky

There is a video of a large tornado that is currently destroying Nashville.

I have family who lives in the area that was hardest hit. It sounds like the one that hit Bowling Green 2 years ago on Dec 11th,
Most scared I've ever been since moving out to Mt Washington 23 years ago. My cat who was never scared of storms, now runs and hides at the sound of thunder. It was dark, but the sound outside was ominous and the pressure over our neighborhood was intense. Multiple tornado warnings that day. It was scary as all get out. Prayers up for the folks down southwest.

Keep the families in southern Todd County, Russellville , Auburn, and Bowling Green in your prayers. Those areas were hit by a long track tornado that was on the ground upwards of an hour, lots of damage.
This we agree on. Scary stuff. 🙏

Prayers for all of them. I will add them to our prayer request in church tomorrow evening.

God bless those families and you also LmdCat.

Keep us updated on the situation as well please. I hope your family is doing well too.

something i’ll never forget is seeing the power come on after seeing the sun come up.

Saw a video of a the tornado that hit hendersonville. It had the multi vorticies like the Jarrel F5 in Texas in 1995. Looked like you could see a ''step'' come out like a human leg before it hit the thing that exploded. Native americans supposedly say if you see that in a tornado it means you are going to die.

‟The townsfolk of Jarrell can now see the arms, and legs of a multivortex tornado approaching.” ‟The Deadman has just walked.... into Jarrell.”

spooky. shit.

Man, I miss living in KY but stuff like this makes me love these WV mountains even more than I already do, which is a lot!!! It’s not fun when it snows here more than other places but the chances of getting a damaging tornado is slim to none.
