Big Tornadoes In Southern Kentucky

Most scared I've ever been since moving out to Mt Washington 23 years ago. My cat who was never scared of storms, now runs and hides at the sound of thunder. It was dark, but the sound outside was ominous and the pressure over our neighborhood was intense. Multiple tornado warnings that day. It was scary as all get out. Prayers up for the folks down southwest.
I couldn't go to bed. Had candles and emergency power at the ready. Prayed to The Lord the whole time. That was a VERY scary night that I won't soon forget.
Prayers for all of them. I will add them to our prayer request in church tomorrow evening.

Some guy said it looked like a small plane that was flying and got sucked into it? I don’t know. It could be hearsay. God I hope not. Awful way to go.

It was about 8 miles from me. I live east past the airport This went north through Rivergate and Hendersonville and Gallatin. Clarksville was hit earlier. Several deaths and untold damage.
Saw a video of a the tornado that hit hendersonville. It had the multi vorticies like the Jarrel F5 in Texas in 1995. Looked like you could see a ''step'' come out like a human leg before it hit the thing that exploded. Native americans supposedly say if you see that in a tornado it means you are going to die.

I live in East barren. 68/80. Sky got a little yellow Grey, but nothing happened. Light wind and rain. Fortunate I guess.

Yeah we got very fortunate. I feel bad for those who didn’t.
Man, I miss living in KY but stuff like this makes me love these WV mountains even more than I already do, which is a lot!!! It’s not fun when it snows here more than other places but the chances of getting a damaging tornado is slim to none.
My brother lives in Madison, TN. A house four spots down the street was leveled. Same thing for his daughter in Springfield. Scary weather...
