Big George is running with the ones while Meadows continues to battle a migraine. Schlarman says George is looking the part and it will be a battle when Meadows returns.

Also, King has been explosive and is picking things up.

Good to hear that we are developing some depth. Kinda worried about Meadows and his migraine. Did he get a concussion?

Meadows may have been hospitalized to address his migraine. From the comments these past days, does not seem to have been induced by contact, but I could be wrong. No mention of concussion.

Never had a concussion (at least that I know about) but migraines are a part of my life, unfortunately. There are some things you can do with it from a functioning profession/job side of things but can't imagine being an athlete with a recurring problem. No idea if Meadows has a pattern of migraines and definitely hope not. That would suck for him especially and also the team, obviously. He's a promising young lineman.

Dang OT are dropping like flies at UK. It getting to be a real serious problem. UK may have to play some players that would be better at OG this year. Heck with George A-A at the OT position they already have a player there projected to play guard.

Yep, GAA is an OG so having to plat him at OT could essentially weaken 2 positions. Hopefully Meadows returns soon.

We have plenty of guards. The coaches wouldn't put George at tackle if it was going to weaken anything. Guys move around on the OL all the time. The idea that if you play one position you can't successfully play another doesn't apply to all players. If you watch elite programs they move guys inside or outside all the time as needs arise. Same thing in the NFL. People get too worked up over this.

Percy Harvin has been dealing with migraines throughout his career, so I guess there are ways to deal with it.

Meadows has 3+ weeks before the season begins. Be glad it is popping up now rather than later. I have had a couple of migraines and it will stop you in your tracks. I wouldn't wish one on a UL fan.

I'm really excited to see what George is going to turn into..he's got a ton of natural talent and strength..I think it says a lot about the depth we've built that George was #2 on the depth chart..in past years he would've come in and been the clear-cut starter from day one
