I can't thank y'all enough for all the prayers and well wishes. Today went pretty well even though the pain was horrible. No surgery today. Next week, Monday or Tuesday, they'll do the skin grafts from my legs. If the grafts take then its just a matter of time, months not weeks, until I can be past this.
I finally saw a picture of it and nearly puked. Its 1-2 inches deep on 70% of my back. It looks like it came straight from a horror movie.

So sorry you’re going through this, brother. Glad to read that your nerves are regrowing, painful as it is. I will be praying in Jesus’ name for healing and support for you.
Also, this is probably paltry peanuts next to what you already know but I figure the worst it can do is not help. Over the past year I figured out that our livers are responsible for a huge part of the question whether we’re generally healthy or not. So I’ve got in the habit of taking TUDCA, milk thistle, citrus bergamot, and taurine (that last on an empty stomach) all to help with that.

OP, your post made me realize I shouldn't be feeling sorry for myself as much as I do because some people are dealing with even worse issues than those that have had me down. I'm looking forward to reading about your full recovery in a few months. Hang tough.
Wow, @BigBlueFanGA!! I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. It just seems to be one thing on top of another for you. You will DEFINITELY be in my thoughts and prayers and I pray that you get a good report. We here on this board may fuss and fume with each other but we are all brothers and sisters who are here for each other when it comes down to it. Wow, I am so sorry to hear about this OP. Do the doctors know what caused you to pass out to begin with? Something to do liver wise obviously.
You have my heartfelt sympathies ; I take some meds each day to deal with neuropathy. There is no pain like nerve pain, that's a fact. Please keep us updated. I look forward to hearing you're in much better shape quite soon!!!
