Big 12 expansion?

If Ducks & Huskies go to the B10 then the B12 should ask (what is left) of the P12 for a merger because it is only a matter of time that the ACC gets picked apart.
If only 4 teams remain in the ACC then the GOR is null & void.
Then my conference has the numbers to to compete with your conference & the B10.
Agree with these assumptions?

The Big 12 would be better off just selecting the teams they want from the PAC 12. A merger brings Washington St and Oregon State, who they probably do not want.

I don’t expect that many ACC teams to be raided. Ideally they would lose maybe four teams and then take the out of place Big 12 teams (Cincinnati, UCF, WVU).

Also, I don’t really think you compete by having more teams. It’s about quality.

Lol screw Notre Dame. They think they can ride on their titles from years ago be independent forever.
I don’t like them, but they and Brigham Young have built in audiences based on religious affiliations that add to their values.

Notre Dame, especially, has no need of conference brethren to divide TV money with.

They're actually losing money though. Walking away from this deal is 25 million less than they would typically make. Granted, they've walked away from it before.

But at a certain point, they're gonna have to join a conference.
