Honestly, did not know the MLB draft was not until July 15 or so. I wish they would move the season back about three weeks, first games in early March, first conference games in early April. Would allow northern teams a lot better competitive chance, and would increase interest/attendance everywhere. Definitely the quality of baseball would improve. We all know how brutal the weather can be for the first 15 games or so.
And even with the season starting three weeks later, would still be done before the MLB draft, or all but the last few games of the CWS anyway, which only affects a handful of teams. All the teams that did not make a super regional would be finished by end of June, probably still in summer session school wise.
