Best two Coordinators in the SEC?

i wouldnt trade either one white does a great job with 3 star players hope he loves UK n stays for long time Coen has the best offense that uk maybe has ever had one team multipe tight ends running back n wideouts not just one guy for position only weak spot might be back up QB we found out last yr LETS GO WIN 9 GO BIG BLUE

We’ve never been in better shape as a program in my lifetime, can see both these guys as HCs in the future. I know some people don’t care for Barnhart but he deserves a lot of credit for the Stoops hire and sticking with him through the tough years while he developed a quality staff that can recruit and coach.

Not a bad proposition, and White’s quality and likely ranking as No. 1 in the SEC is actually more defendable than Coen’s, given White’s lengthier stay.

I think Schuman's resume gives him a claim as the top DC in the country. Bama came after him hard this off season. I realize he has signed some talent, but recruiting is part of it just like calling the defense is.

Now Coen could be the best OC in the conference, his recruiting is top knotch, his development is too. I don't know who would rank higher right now.

If we go into Georgia 5-0 and ranked in the top 20, Game Day damn sure better be in Athens.

I want Jawja!!!!

When all is said and done, I think Stoops is gonna have a pretty impressive coaching tree.
Seriously.

* Derrick Ansley went from DB coach at Kentucky to the same position at Bama, then the Raiders, then DC at Tennessee and is now DC for the L.A. Chargers.

* Liam Coen went from OC at Kentucky to OC with the Rams (and although he's back, has a bright future ahead of him).

* Matt House went from Kentucky DC to a defensive coach with the Chiefs to DC at LSU ... a job that Brad White could have had if he'd wanted it.

* Neal Brown as UK OC to Troy HC and then West Virginia HC.

* Jon Sumrall from UK linebackers coach to Troy HC.

* Steve Clinkscale from UK DB coach to Michigan DC.

* Dean Hood from a defensive and special teams coach at UK to HC at Murray State (yes, I know he'd been a HC before, but still -- Stoops helped him get another shot).

* Bradley Dale Peveto went from ST coach at UK to the same position at LSU and is now DC at UTEP.

All of these are guys who went straight from UK either to the pros, to head coaching jobs, or to position/coordinator jobs at schools typically seen as being higher up the ladder of traditional powers in college football. Vince could have left for another job if he'd wanted, and so could White. Plus you have guys who were a mess here but have built their careers back up elsewhere -- Shannon Dawson as OC at Miami, Craig Naviar as DC at Coastal Carolina. It all goes to show -- Mark Stoops knows coaching talent when he sees it.

One thing I disagree with he said Stoops has repeatedly lost coaches who have left for better jobs. The only one example I can think of is Wolford who went to Bama after just being here a year. I guess you could say Coen leaving to go back to the Rams is one but he's since returned. You could say Clink I guess, although I'm not so sure Michigan is that much of a step up. Matt House left to be a position coach in the NFL - does that qualify as a "better job"?

So I think quite the opposite White could walk out the door tomorrow and probably have a dozen text's offering him a DC job elsewhere, and numerous teams went after Coen as soon as they found out he was on the market again, yet Stoops has kept both and they are now among the highest paid coordinators in college football.
