I'm shocked that we aren't getting killed by foul calls. All of our fouls have been just stupid fouls for the most part, but called fairly. We even got a few calls going our way. I figured we were going to get hammered by the refs there, but I've been very happy. Hopefully I didn't jinx it by posting this before the end of the game.

They called some bad calls on Arkansas in the first half, now calling some bad ones on UK in the 2nd half. Officiating as a whole is hot garbage

No I agree overall it's been ok but they got called for touch fouls nobody else has been called for.

Bull. Lee's last foul was crap and Alex's last foul was a make up call because Kingsley threw a fit the play before.

If you commit stupid fouls all the time the refs will call them on you more. They have to learn to stay in front of their man and stop reaching in, pushing off, going over their backs, and falling for the ball fakes. They have been doing that all year. Skal has as well, but he has done better this game. Lee and Poythress have not.

As long as they are calling ticky tack fouls evenly I can deal with that. Sure it can ruin the flow of the game, but maybe someone got on the refs to start calling it the way they were supposed to all year. Especially knowing Arkansas tends to hack like crazy I still think we got a fair whistle.

First half, UK got the benefit of the doubt. 2nd half, not at all. I am not sure ARK made more than 5-6 baskets. Rest were FT's. All called by the white ref.

White ref is Karl Hess. 99% sure of that. Which explains him being horrible.

Yes that was that fat prick and he called six fouls in a row on UK I counted because I knew he would show up sooner or latter. They throw him out of the ACC and jerk winds up in the SEC !! He it worst collage official calling games !!

probably about even..surprised it wasn't worse...usually UK gets hosed on the road..and then at Rupp, there is no Home cooking.: Poythress still too many dumb fouls. SKAL was the difference.

I thought they were horrible against the razorbacks most of the game.

The payback calls were just as bad but not nearly at the pivotal points of the game.

Yeah, I was all settled in, hoping we would win by a couple, expecting the usual raping we get @Arky...

this game was a flat-out breeze!


Lot of could've-played-on fouls where two guys went for a ball at the same time, with the one who didn't get it getting the foul-- but it went both ways, for the most part. I'll take it!
