I love Braxton labs. Much better than the other. Some incredible beers there. Cherry season, coconut hefeweisien, black berry lager and ne ipa batch #3. Their ne ipa is my favorite all time ipa. They have a sweet potato casarol beer that they garnish with a toasted marshmallow that is fun as wellHave heard a rumor that Rhinegeist is looking to open a place in Lexington. If true it would be great.
I'd also love if Braxton headed South as well.
Only been there once but impressive beers for sure. I liked it when it was Eight Ball also but Braxton has some interesting stuff going on there now. The Black IPA is very nice also. Blows away the black IPA from Darkness Brewery. Both are super convenient to downtown and minutes away from me. As is Wooden Cask.I love Braxton labs. Much better than the other. Warms my heart to see Blue Stallion getting such high remarks.
I couldn't agree more. Best by a wide margin.
Country Boy is the the big thing, I get it but I think their products are pretty meh...
What's your favorite Louisville brewery? I like against the grain and gravely brewing the most so farNon-Lextonian but Blue Stallion is easily the best in Lex and probably one of the better ones in the state. As good as anything in Louisville. I get that most of those places have to have all the random sours, fruit beers and other oddballs, but at least BS puts effort into actually doing classic styles really well.
