Still awaiting the conclusion of SNF to see if we get the Raiders or Patriots.

But looks like we are Game Numero Uno for this year's playoffs boys.

Was at the Chiefs game last Sunday. Can’t wait to see the bengals get that playoff victory next Saturday!

In 1990, last time the Bengals won a playoff game, off the top of my head:

41 was President, Saddam Hussein had not yet started the Gulf War, Bill Clinton was governor of Arkansas

Bill Curry was our coach and everybody still liked him, Commonwealth Stadium capacity was about 57,000, still had wooden endzone bleachers

I only had one child

DId not own a PC, if I recall correctly, and damn sure did not have a cell phone

Internet was something I had only vaguely heard about

our office did have a fax machine, on that god awful mimeograph paper that would quickly fade if you didn't immediately go make a copy

Still carried cash for most purchases

We need this one. Raiders are going to be all over Joe and besides that they don't have to blitz to put pressure on the QB and they have guys 3 deep to force you to throw underneath into all that coverage. Joe will have to have a great game. I hope we don't get behind because they'll really turn the heat up and I live in fear of Burrow getting his leg hurt again before we can get a real offensive line in front of him that a QB like him deserves.

About the time we finally address the O-line Joe will be in a wheelchair.

Somebody will post "oh, the Bengals already beat the Raiders" as if that is a cogent point. The Chargers beat the Raiders by 2 touchdowns the first time they played but that didn't help them the 2nd time.

I'll be very interested in this one as a Titans fan. I would prefer to face Vegas on paper...but no game will be easy for my Titans with how we play. If we get up big, we act all offended and let teams back in the game. We play better in close games. It would also not surprise me if the Titans are playing the Patriots either, although I do feel the Bills will win that one since the game is in Buffalo.

I'd say it is all chalk in the AFC with Chiefs winning big, Bengals in a close one and Bills in a close one. That would set up 2 dynamite games in the divisional round.

In the NFC I'll go with Satan/aka Brady, and the Rams and then I guess the Cowboys.

I don't know...none of the road teams seem that great to me this year ya know? I mean I can see the 49ers beating the Cowboys and the Raiders beating the Bengals...or maybe Patriots over Bills, but when push comes to shove I cannot pick one of them to win.

Cowboys are dead meat. They're looking for a soft spot to land.

I have a theory about Dallas. I think Jerry-World is so luxurious that it spoils the Cowboys. Makes them soft and lazy. You can't be tough getting spoiled like that place. There is nothing like it, really.

Current forecast for Cincinnati this Saturday is snow and a high of 35 degrees. Enjoy that Raiders.

Saw this the other day…”No one has ever sent a text about a Bengals playoff win.”

The first text was sent in 1992. The Bengals last playoff win was 1991.

WHO DEY!

The first text message was sent in 1992.
The bengals last won’t a playoff game in 1991.

no one has ever sent a text about a bengals playoff win.

Proud of the Bengals.....and as a Titan fan, I don't want to play them.

My preference list for this Wildcard wkend:
1a. We play Steelers
OR
1b. We play Raiders

2. We play either the Bengals/Patriots.......and whomever we don't play, may they beat KC to get them out of the picture

Absolutely Steelers are preference 1 but no way in hell they beat the Chiefs. I am thinking the AFC is going to be chalk this weekend. I think the Patriots are way overrated and the Bills will be able to outscore them, unless it is another game where no one can physically throw the ball. Chiefs should slaughter the Squeelers and the Bengals/Raiders is more of a toss up but I give the edge to the home team.

I am sure I will be wrong on 1 or more of the above, but who knows. The Bengals/Titans would be fun and probably very high scoring.

I just hope the Titans are healthy next weekend and Henry is truly back as a threat. We have Foreman to help him now, but the King being back will free up our passing game to get to new heights in the post season. We are not winning jack running the ball and Tanny throwing for 90 yards like 2 years ago. It was great we won at New England and at Baltimore doing that, but now we have the more balanced offense. The D is a lot better this year too. No one will pick the Titans to win the AFC so we have that chip on our shoulder as well.

It'll be very interesting how Henry performs. His injury is not one that someone comes back quickly like nothing is wrong.....especially not a guy of his size and ability. I honestly could see him getting no more than 5-7 carries next wk.....depending on how he feels and how the game progresses. For a guy that gets better as the game progresses, it'll be interesting if he can create a large impact with just a handful of carries.

Lifelong Bengals fan. Used to sadness and misery. Has a truly new era began in Cincy or will it be same ole Bungles?

Raiders have a pretty stout defense. Gotta protect No. 9.

Hoping for a Bengals win and don’t really care about the rest. Not a Cowboys fan, but hope they kill the 49ers. I’m still bitter about Super Bowl XXIII.

Colin Cowherd is an idiot but he has been making a strong case that Joe Burrow is the real MVP this year. Said he was going along with all the "Rodgers is the MVP" talk until he actually looked at the numbers and to him it was clear Joe should be the MVP over Rodgers or Brady.

^ Comeback POTY but not MVP

I’ not a Bengals fan but I like to see them do well. Joe Burrow is impossible to not like or root for. Love watching him play. That franchise deserves him and look how quickly he and Chase flipped that team around. 0-16 to playoffs in less than two years.

You forced me to watch the Cowherd clip. He makes an interesting argument with some pretty solid data. Amazing what he’s done with a young supporting cast and not a great O-Line.
