Ben Duncum commits to Kentucky

It seems like our recruiting energy is quite high right now. The fact that recruiting seems to be picking up momentum AFTER Vince departed tells me that we are in good hands with whoever is handling the recruiting coordinator duties.

Not counting their last year, we should love to be on an OK st level
They’ve been a solid program since Gundy has been there but they are not known for being good defensively. I know that’s true for most of the B12 but Oklahoma State is usually pretty bad on defense. But Duncum has a lot of solid offers so I hope he sticks here no matter how the season goes.

He’s a man!

The new football recruiting footprint shows why Marrow left.
That and the fact that he was no longer allowed to offer whoever and as many as he wanted. Final say had been given to coordinators with input from Gran too.

I think since Marrow got married he stopped putting in the time and effort to get out on the road and scout more. The last several years most of his recruits did not pan out. The first half of his tenure his hit rate was outstanding. It may have been a combination of being burned out and also wanting to spend more time at home with the new wife. Either way, he needed to go because his on field coaching was always lacking.

The last few guys look like they can play in the SEC unfortunately there's a lot of questionable ones in the class.

That’s speculation. I have no idea what his dis/motivation was or wasn’t.
