Beau Allen back to the Cats

If he could not win the starting job at Georgia Southern then why would anyone think he could win the job here? The job is clearly Vandagrifts job for the next two years with Boley and Saunders fighting to take over after he leaves

Having stated this however it helps to have a backup with starting experience ! Brock likes to pull the ball down and run with it so injuries as we saw with Will are always part of the game
He was not eligible to play at Ga St(second transfer) so sat out, which is the same he will have to do if he transfers here. He will not be eligible to play next year unless he graduates from Ga St and given how many times he has transferred and how you tend to lose credits in that process, I would be surprised if he is eligible next year.

Imo, he’s being brought in to be the backup. I have a feeling the coaches were very up front with him about the situation.
You guys think Beau is coming back because he was told he would be given every opportunity to compete for the starting job? Or was this just the best situation he could get?
TIFWIW but a poster on another site says Beau is wanting to get into coaching and what better way than to learn the Sean McVay system from Coen .

Makes sense, GA in waiting if true. Drake Jackson probably nearing the end of his GA run, about ready to move on to a staff somewhere much the way Maxwell Smith/CJ Conrad have done.

It would seem that it would be easier for him to graduate from UK than Ga Southern or Tarleton State since he already has 5 semesters and 2 summers here. Can he enroll after Christmas, do another semester and summer, graduate in July and be eligible as a grad transfer in August?

I mean, UK wouldn't waste a spot and take his commitment to be QB2 in Spring if he were ineligible. I'd imagine he has a degree, so he could go into the portal again.
