Basketball team looks Jacked!

He took some very bad shots. With that said the kid is very talented scorer for a 15 year who actually moved up a grade.

Maybe so but even a couple of the shots he hit were horrible shots. One was an off balance 30 footer pull up that most any college coach would chew him out for taking. Oh and his shot is just as funky as his big brothers. If Levar is the greatest coach of all time why didn't he teach those kids good shooting form?

If he has Tyler's KILLER instinct...then I'm happy!
I believe he does. When it comes to that killer instinct, not backing down, talking sh*t, he absolutely has that in his DNA. He will be our leader on the court as far as getting under the other team's skin and trash talking, as well as getting people in the right spots and leading them vocally.

Hope u rite! Lots of pressure on Quade. Maybe the most since Harrow.

Gabriel likely starts but based on body language, your leaders appear to be Green, Diallo, Vandy, PJR and Washington.

It's good to get bigger but you have to be able to use it in game, hopefully SKJ can do that. I have very high hopes for him and I think he should have a breakout year. I think he starts at center especially since Richards is so raw on offense and has some foul issues on defense.

Some worry about Knox's outside shooting, but not me. When you have the frame that kid has, while you're playing in AAU or high school, of course most of your points come from the post. When you have that build, you don't waste it by standing at the 3 point line all game. Knox has the shooting touch to shoot a decent % from deep, but expect Cal to use that kid's frame to score some points inside the paint. Green only looks small cause of the type of roster Cal put together. Cal pretty much recruited the best 3's and 4's in the recruiting class and decided to build his team with these long 6'7¬6'9 kids that can play all over the court. Heck, even our shooting guard is a long 6'6 kid. When you stand next to those guys, you won't be looking tall anytime soon.

Not to get off track here but this is what I've always wondered. Lonzo is an excellent player and he does hit them at a good clip which is what matters, but damn, you raise your boys specifically to be basketball machines and you don't teach them proper shooting technique? It's worked for Lonzo so far (we'll see on the others) but I would've had them studying Ray Allen or gotten them a shooting coach or something. He may end up having good shooting numbers in the NBA but I have a hard time believing he'll be able to live up to what he could've been capable of as a shooter. He obviously has good natural aim.

I haven't seen LaVar shoot but I'm betting they have his exact shot and his hubris got in the way of them learning proper technique. Gotta shoot like dad to beat dad. I'm not a big baller though so I could be wrong.

Back on topic, that's a strong looking group of dudes. No fat boys on this team, they all look like Tarzan.
