Oh how I wish Cal would just move into a GM role where he's only in charge of roster construction and recruiting and then we could hire a separate person as head coach to handle the game preps, lineups, rotation/minute distribution, and in-game adjustments that Cal struggles with.
Cal is an egomaniac and loves to be innovative. He has a chance to be the first official GM in college sports which would be great for his legacy and ego. And great for the program getting him out of gameday coaching. Classic win-win.
