Baseball America tourney projection

Has cats #12 national seed with Indiana, UC Santa Barbara, and Wright state coming to Lexington. Matched up with #5 seed Stanford should both teams advance to the supers.

This would be great. It would be ideal to see UK move up to a top 8 seed (and hence hosting both regionals and supers), but really want to at least grab a regional host site.

Even more exciting...D1 baseball released their updated projections with UK as the national 8 seed (Indiana State, Notre Dame, and Wright state are the other three in our region). If we were to win that, we'd be paired up with Florida as the national 9 seed.

UK hosting the gators for a shot at Omaha would fire up the UK fanbase like no baseball event in the history of our program. Attendance record vs. UL set a few weeks ago would be shattered.

They are 7th in RPI with a non-conference SOS of 8th best in the nation, and overall 37th toughest. They're 10-12 against Quad 1 and 2 opponents. It is a pretty solid resume.
