Has he announced that he was entering the portal??

There is an article out there that says BB and Maclin have both entered the transfer portal.
I know about Maclin but must have missed the BB announcement, even though it has been obvious for the past several games.

I saw that last night, surprised me because from reading about here I come up with him not being a fan of school and enter the draft. I assume he would test pretty well on speed and explosive drills, maybe not as well on catching drills. But he would be a good kick return guy.

I wouldn't be surprised and I don't fault either of them. This next season's near-inevitable failure can't be enticing to play for.

We desperately need to hear something one way or the other from UK regarding the future of CMS's employment, because all I've heard is from the guys white-knuckling millions of dollars.

Maybe we keep some of our best players if we get Sumrall, but I doubt it if UK doesn't oust Stoops soon.

I don't think the portal will be open until next Monday. If so, although they may have announced their intention to enter the portal, they can't have already done so.

I hope he takes his trash talking mouth somewhere else team killer

Not talking about BB, but about 95% of all WR. All the trash talking is a side effect of the targeting rule. You may not be old enough to member guys like Jack Tatum or Ronnie Lott, but no WR ever got in their face talking trash about a catch. WR have no fear anymore, if they are hit too hard the defender is flagged.

Brown needs to go, he's an elite athlete but a poor receiver and like many on this team, has a poor attitude. Just my IMO, but we need to reset the culture, I hate losing Maclin more than Brown because what Maclin said after the Louisville game is spot on. We need better leaders - across all fronts.

I still have hope that he announces that he is resigning after signing day.

He would be a top 3 round pick if he played for someone like that ass hat Josh Hueple (sp) at UT IMO.

I dont care what he does , but leaving wouldnt bother me one bit .. If he was 1/2 of as good as he thinks he is he would be a Hiesman candidate . But instead hes just another undisciplined loud mouth

He would be a first round pick if he played for UT/Ole miss ect!

He's one of those guys who'll test well at the combine and get drafted too early, a la Kadarius Toney. Although there's no chance Brown is a first-rounder.

I hope he goes into the NFL instead of transferring. If he ends up in Knoxville he'll undoubtedly drop 150 yards on us next season.

No he wouldn't. No one draft's a kick returner in the first round. He has elite speed, but poor route running ability and average at best hands. If you could combine his speed with Keys route running and hands, then you would have a first round potential WR

Hard to be a top 3 round NFL pick at WR when you're lazy, don't run crisp routes, have not shake only straight line speed, and most important no natural ball skills and catching ability.
I don't see how any WR could enjoy playing in a Stoops offense. Targets are very few. Some of the "laziness" might be due to not being engaged in the game.

This is good news imo. Brown is fast but not that good all around. He is also to small and gets easily overwhelmed by larger DBs. His runs in the jet are laughable. The breeze could tackle him. None of that even covers his constant mouth diarrhea.

Stoops isn't going anywhere. You won't hear anything.

While I agree completely, a lot of his issues could be Kentucky related and in that offense, straight line speed kills and all he would have to do is run and not actually drop the ball.

He's not going to do that and it would have no effect on the signing class since the NLI really means nothing anymore.
There are a very limited number of open scholarships after signing day.

No doubt, the better commitments could find a landing spot, but many of those 19 commits will not have the opportunity for another P4 scholarship on the SEC or Big 10.

Couple years back my company had our annual meeting and Ronnie Lott was a guest speaker. Pretty cool dude. I’m not an autograph guy but my nephew is. So I got an autographed football from Ronnie. The nephew loved it, but had no idea who Ronnie was lol

Yep remember him, and you are correct, might have got in his face once, carted off the next play. Lester Hayes was as physical aa those guys but with as much "stickum" as he had on him and the contact allowed today a WR's hands would be glued to Lester.

Imma be honest we are going lose a good number of players but with the transfer portal that’s not the end of the world. Some of these guys were part of terrible culture anyway. Kentucky is a sec school with money well wil be able to get good players to come here. Hell vandy did.

The glory days. THAT was football. I'll add a few more: Donnie Shell, Steve Attwater, Bill Bates, Darren Woodson, Ed Reed, John Lynch.

Yep all those names except Bates. All I can remember him doing is getting bowled over by Hershele on his first carry. But all those guys kept the trash talking WR quiet, because they had to run another route.

Lol, I remember Bates hitting that ref in the head accidentally and knocking his hat off. Picked it up.for him and asked if he was ok. Bates was a hard hitter and that's why he was hurt a lot.
